Prices are decent but the food is great, the service wasn't bad we got peach cobbler brought to our table (that we didn't order) it was ok, not the best....but the brisket is so tender it literally just falls apart SO GOOD.

Awesome food. There is a Senior menu and the shrimp were huge. The moist brisket was really good. They even give you complimentary peach cobbler after dinner. Live music at this location on Mondays by man and wife team singing all kinds of songs, even Christmas songs. They go to Ace's other locations on other nights. Definitely going again

Got the BBQ chicken plate from a fundraiser. This was my first time and boy was the chicken good! It was cooked perfectly and was nice and hot. It came with tasty rice and beans. The to go plate also came with a slice of bread and BBQ sauce. The plate and all the food filled me up and put a big smile on my face. Will be back again for sure! đź‘Ť

Ate here by recommendation. We did not get the correct type of brisket but overall it was good and the servings were plentiful.

The service was very good. However the best part of the meal was the fries. I don’t mean to be rude at all, I respect the owner for being and staying in business. The brisket was dry and didn’t taste like anything and was thrown on the tray as if it was the scraps left when everything else was gone, no smokiness no saltiness no pepper flavor. The pulled pork oddly tasted like chicken, also flavorless. The Mac and cheese I’m guessing was from a package. Fries were nice and crispy. I’ve been making bbq for years and sadly this was not bbq by any standard. I’m sorry I really want to like it.

I went by Aces BBQ with my wife for lunch. It's located on 495 between Taylor Rd. and Shary Rd. In Mission. Aces has been around for ten years and they know how to do BBQ. I've eaten here before and have never been disappointed, but today I wanted to try something different. When you walk in you head to the counter and place your order and the cashier brings you your order. Aces has signs advertising farm raised Catfish and I was feeling it, so I ordered it. My wife ordered the brisket tacos. My plate came with fries, Cole slaw, and house made tarter sauce. The fish was lightly breaded in corn meal and deliciously crispy. My wife's tacos came with lots of brisket, rice, pinto beans, and home made salsa. She really enjoyed them. I noticed the dessert cabinet when we ordered our lunch and the brownies looked really good, so when we finished our meals we shared one with ice cream. The brownies were not chewy but moist and had walnuts for a nice texture touch. I could have eaten another one, it was so good. The portions at Aces are generous so you definitely get your money's worth and you will leave satisfied.

My stepson told me about this place. He bragged about the catfish sandwich and stated the BBQ was good. My wife and I definitely had to try it out. The food was very good and the portions were very large. The brisket was tender and had a nice bark/taste. I was very impressed by the food served at Ace's. We will definitely be going back. Laid back environment and a nice place to bring family and friends. Great customer service with a smile. I forgot to mention the Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad. I just don't eat anyone's potato salad. Especially store bought stuff. Hated it. I love Ace's potato salad. Finally, in my opinion, potato salad made the way potato salad is supposed to be made. That Miracle Whip stuff, in my opinion, sucks. Sorry Miracle Whip lovers (Yucky). Thank you Jesus for great food. This is definitely Texas BBQ at its best. Don't forget to leave a good tip. Good BBQ is definitely a labor of love and very hard to find. Thanks for the love Ace's. I had to add more information to my post. My wife and I also went to the Ace Restaurant in Edinburg because it's closer to our home. I guess you can have the same name but not the same food. The Ace Restaurant in Edinburg was good but we noticed the potato salad in Edinburg wasn't the same potato salad they made in Mission. Both Ace restaurants our a great place to enjoy awesome BBQ. In my opinion, the Ace in Mission is definitely better. Sorry Edinburg. Just my opinion. You'll find the love at both locations but we felt more love at the Ace in Mission. I thank both locations for doing what they do but if I want the bomb potato salad, I'm going to Ace Restaurant in Mission. Just keeping it real. Peace.
